Twenty years ago a group of dedicated disc golfers worked with Portland Parks and Recreation to install a disc golf course in Pier Park. Since then, thanks to the ongoing support of Portland Parks and Recreation, Stumptown Disc Golf, and Friends of Pier Park, the disc golf course has become known among the highest-rated courses in the world, a disc golf tourist destination, and one of the most played courses in Oregon.
20 for the 20th
To celebrate the 20th anniversary of our lovely golf course we are pleased to announce the Frisbee Friends of Pier Park disc golf tournament, co-sponsored by IQ Credit Union. The tournament is on Saturday, August 5th. It will be a one-day tournament with players playing 2 rounds of 20 holes each. Just for the tournament we will be modifying the regular 18-hole summer course layout and adding 2 holes to make it 20 for the 20th!

This tournament is a fundraiser to help Friends of Pier Park, a 501(c)(3) non-profit, continue its programming in support of the park and the Saint Johns community that surrounds it.
